Common questions
You probably want to know.
Can students have multiple guardians?
Yes. Father, mother, grandparents, official guardian — all can be added to the student record with their contact details. The parent app login currently uses the primary registered phone number, so one guardian logs in at a time. Other guardians stay in the record for the office’s reference.
Do parents get access to their child’s record?
Yes. Once a student is added, the parent gets an invite to the AiScholr parent app. They see only their own child’s record — attendance, fees, progress reports, notices, documents. Multi-child families see all their children on one login.
How do we handle transfers between sections?
A few clicks to move a student from IX-A to IX-B. Attendance, marks, and history follow them. The old section’s records don’t break.
What happens when a student leaves the school?
Their full history stays in the system but they’re moved out of active class lists. You can search past students separately, and parents retain access to their child’s old records.
Can we export student data for board records?
Yes — export student data by class, section, year of admission, or any custom filter. Useful when the board asks for records or when an audit happens.
Who can see which student data?
Office and principal see everything. Class teachers see their own class. Subject teachers see students in classes they teach. Parents see only their child. Each person sees exactly what they need — and nothing more.
